the best of Africa’s

channel, Channel O.
The nominees list was
released last weekend,
in South Africa.
Spread across 14
categories, this year’s
Channel O Music Video

of Original African

music channel that has
steadfastly flown the

musicians and music
for well over a decade.
“We continue to
recognise and
acknowledge the
magnitude of African
music and musicians.
The nominations in this
year’s awards are yet
another reflection of
how Channel O is
celebrating African
musical talent. How it
keeps growing from
strength to strength
and striving to stay
Original African,” says
Leslie Kasumba,

Now in its 9th year, the
Channel O Music Video

the continent that
exclusively features
African artists.
The annual Channel O

grown to be the
Original African

Saturday, 17th
November at Walter
