Many passengers this
morning escaped death
by whisker as a
commercial bus
popularly called Danfo
they were travelling in
caught fire in the CMS
area of Lagos.
The incident which
occurred at about 8 am
by BRT Bus Stop
recorded no casualties.
According to an eye
witness, no one was
injured as all
passengers managed
to run out of the bus
before it was
completely engulfed.
It was gathered that
LASTMA officials were
seen at the scene
shortly after the
occurrence to maintain
free flow of traffic.
Vanguard learnt that
the fire service was
contacted immediately
but they did not come
even after the bus has
burnt out completely.
