Gunmen snatch N2m from Anambra ministry staff

THREE persons
suspected to be armed
robbers Thursday
snatched N2 million
from a staff of the
Anambra State Ministry
of Lands as he was
about to enter the
ministry’s gate.
It was not clear what
the money was meant
for, but Vanguard
gathered that the
suspected robbers
trailed the staff from
the bank where he
collected the money
until he was about to
enter the ministry’s
gate, when the three
people on a motorcycle
brought out guns and
forced him to hand
over the bag. They
collected the
cellophane bag which
contained the money
and fled.
