Okwo has picked
October 19, as the date
for the theatrical
release of their latest
movie, “The Meeting”,
just as Stephanie
Okereke Idahosa is
currently on location
shooting her new
movie months after
she walked down the
aisle with her hubby in
Paris.
The movie titled ‘Dry”
according to our
source, is based on
Vesico Vaginal Fistula,
which is said to be
prevalent in the
northern Nigeria.
On the
movie,
“The
Meeting”, Silverbird
Distribution Limited is
named as being in
charge of marketing
and sales.
The romantic comedy
stars Rita Dominic
alongside veteran
actor, Jide Kosoko. It
also featured Kate
Henshaw-Nuttal,
Basorge Tariah, Nse
Ikpe-Etim, and Chinedu
Ikedieze.
“We are excited about
this film because it is a
truly Nigerian story
that cuts across
borders. Anybody
anywhere in the world
will find something
peculiar on his or her
immediate
environment. We are
not only introducing
upcoming stars
including Femi Jacobs
and Linda I. Ejiofor but
we are also
showcasing a different
and dynamic Rita
Dominic,” said

TASC ,Mildred Okwo.
The movie is the
company’s first
cinematic offering.

entertainment
company TASC, “The
Meeting’ is directed by
Mildred Okwo and the
screenplay was written
by Tunde Babalola.
The story set in Abuja
follows the trials of
Lagos-based corporate
executive Makinde
Esho (Femi Jacobs) who
finds himself at the
mercy of political
patronage,
bureaucratic red tape
and Cupid’s arrow
while in hot pursuit of
a ‘meeting’ to secure a
government contract.
